Amfiton [Амфитон] VP 201 [ВП 201]

Amphiton VP-201 is the twin brother of the Russia VP-201 player . Produced at the Yaroslavl plant "Mashpribor" and appeared, apparently, earlier than "Rus." Production began approximately in the 1989th year, ended in the 1991th. In the instructions to all well-known players there is a stamp "EXPERIMENTAL SAMPLE". In general, it differs from Rus by a slightly worse manufacturing quality. There is evidence that Amphiton VP-201 was also produced at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant.[1]
