Also known as Sanyo Fisher, after Sanyo purchased the American electronics manufacturer Fisher.

Most interesting of the video-only laserdisc players are Sanyo`s initial pair of entries: the world`s first laservision players that feature automatic two-side reproduction. A unique U-shaped pickup-drive mechanism flips over to allow single-laser reproduction of both sides, with rapid access to selections on either side of the platter. Picture quality rivals that of the new Super-VHS format, with a quoted 420 lines of horizontal resolution. Price tags are $965 and $825.[1]
